My Reason Why

Things change in an instant. Habits that your child has had for months can be gone without warning. A 9 month old eating cheerios off the table without using their hands, sleeping in a toddler bed or climbing into your arms to snuggle at night. The other day I was thinking "I wonder when the last time will be that I pick up my son (who is now 5). Will I be like the mom in Love you Forever that is cradling her grown son? Probably not. Tiktok does not help when I find myself scrolling and crying about my kids growing up.

Although I started shooting in 2019 when my son was little I didn't quite have the same reasoning behind why I want to do this. I want to remember the small moments and I want to give that gift to other families. I wish often how I could be in all these photos and not be the one behind the camera. I want to give that to other mamas out there. I want my kids to know and look back at our family in all these different stages. These small moments and random memories may not be special to everyone but they are special to me and I know that every family has their own memories and moments that are special to them.

So relax get in those pictures, kiss your kids, get messy with glue or mud  and enjoy the beautiful chaos that is being a parent! you're doing a good job and your children are loved

I am a storytelling family photographer who shoots people who find the beauty in the every day chaos and un-posed.

This Is Me

Hello there! I'm Stephanie and I have been passionate about photography since 2010 when I was developing film in the dark room of my high school. In 2019 when my son was one I started my photography business. I now have three kids which has shown me how things can change in an instant. Habits that your child has had for months can be gone without warning. A 9 month old eating cheerios off the table without using their hands, sleeping in a toddler bed or climbing into your arms to snuggle at night.

I want to remember those small moments and give that gift to other families. These small moments and random memories may not be special to everyone but they are special to me. I know  every family has their own memories and moments that are special to them.

So relax get in those pictures, kiss your kids, get messy with glue or mud  and enjoy the beautiful chaos that is being a parent!

I am a storytelling family photographer who captures unposed moments in the everyday chaos of life and I can't wait to help you tell your story.
